The Fernando Awards is celebrating its
50th Anniversary this year.  Instead of honoring an individual, it  
is symbolically honoring all volunteers throughout the Valley by  
recognizing 50 non-profit organizations.  The 50 were selected by a  
committee with input from all past recipients or their widows.  The  
SFV Symphony was nominated by Nancy Porter and was selected as  
one of the 50.

The symphony will also be featured in the  
50th Anniversary Tribute Book.
